Built on a foundation of senior leadership roles with Unilever, Aujan Coca-Cola, Emaar Properties and Omniyat, Alex combines the rigor of a seasoned Chief Executive Officer with the creativity of a Marketing/Creative Director to ensure Andarakis delivers on the vision to ’Inspire – Propel – Partner’ with clients and partners alike.
With experience in over 100 destinations real estate placemaking and destination marketing assignments, including 40 with the PIF, RCRC and Ministries in KSA, as well as leading the lifestyle transformation for leading UAE based entities including Emaar, Alex has established himself as one of the region’s leading professionals.
THE FOUNDATIONAL TRUTHS
Alex is a proud Greek Australian, who has spent the past three decades in the Middle East. Australian by thought process, Greek by heart and Arab by entrepreneurial spirit, the personal and professional journey has proven to be one of continual reinvention.
A passion for behavioral science has powered the marketing, branding and communication functional expertise, as well as leadership skills across the C-Level roles throughout his career, applied to corporations, brands and individuals in the search for what they could become over and above what they are or have been.
WHERE THE HEART LIVES
Whilst Sydney, Australia is home, Alex’s true connection is with the beaches, food and relaxed lifestyle of the Greek Islands, and this connection is made even more wonderful that the passion is shared by both his spouse and his adult children. The summer period of June to September can never come fast enough for the Andarakis family.

THE CORPORATE ATHLETE
An obsession with sports lies at the heart of Alex, a lifelong Liverpool Football Club Fan, diehard Manly Sea Eagles Rugby League, and Carlton AFL Fan.
Following a successful schoolboy sporting career across Football, Cricket, Squash and Tennis, multiple knee surgeries saw a major transition to the world of golf, where the desire to win against a game where the only true competitor is yourself, saw Alex transition from a starting handicap of 28 to 14 within 12 months and ultimately to a personal best of 2 in 2020, and is now settled at 7. Becoming the Captain of The Address Montgomerie Golf Club, Dubai, UAE in 2015/2016 and playing Pro-Ams with professionals like Paul Casey, Mark 0’Meara, Francisco Molinari, and Colin Montgomerie are a personal highlight.
Today, Alex is a gym junkie, focused on core and resistance training and cardio boxing which helps regulate his mental wellbeing.
